Bexbach est une ville allemande, située en Sarre, à 25 km de Sarrebruck, à 30 km de la frontière franco-allemande. La ville a été fondée en 1974, ainsi que les 5 communes qui appartiennent à Bexbach : Oberbexbach, Frankenholz, Höchen, Niederbexbach et Kleinottweiler.
La ville ainsi que la rivière qui la traverse tirent leur nom du chevalier « von Beckensbach ».
Les habitants de Bexbach sont appelés « Bexbacher ». En dialecte, on les appelle « Betschbacher », la ville donc, s’appelle « Betschbach ».
