Au Burgstall Spies se trouvait un ancien château noble du haut Moyen Âge surplombant le village de Spies dans la commune de Betzenstein, dans le district de Bayreuth en Haute-Franconie. Il ne reste que très peu de vestiges de murs en témoignent.
L'ancienne forteresse se trouve dans le nord de la Franconie sur le sommet conique isolé du Schlossberg de Spies, culminant à 616,4 m au-dessus du niveau de la mer, dont le sommet est situé à environ 50 mètres au-dessus du village. Le Burgstall est situé juste au nord de la localité de Spies et à environ cinq kilomètres au sud de Betzenstein.
