L'église Saint-Brice de la communauté protestante de Huntlosen a été construite vers 1250 en tant qu'église fortifiée.
Elle est la successeur d'une première église en bois du IXe siècle et d'une église en pierre, érigée ici vers 1120. Une partie des pierres utilisées pour la construction à l'époque se retrouve encore aujourd'hui dans le mur. Il existe des enregistrements détaillés sur les prédicateurs depuis la Réforme jusqu'en 1903.
