L'Oppach est une petite région paysagère dans l'actuel district d'Elbe-Elster. Elle se composait à l'origine de plusieurs parties, principalement couvertes de chênes et d'aulnes, ainsi que d'une zone marécageuse.
Elle s'étendait jusqu'aux villages de Würdenhain et Reichenhain, qui étaient entourés sur trois côtés par celle-ci. À Würdenhain, elle s'étendait jusqu'à la ligne Teichwiese – Reichenhainer Weg – Pfaffenweg. À l'est, elle touchait la Große Röder, à l'ouest, les Lachenhufen de Prieschka et la forêt de Kliebing. Elle mesurait environ 1700 morgen, 3 km de long et 2 km de large.
