Le moulin de Röder se trouve sur l'ancien cours de la Große Röder à Saathain, un quartier de la commune de Röderland dans le sud de Brandebourg.
Comme l'a écrit le pasteur et historien Wolfgang Bastian en 1941 dans une lettre au propriétaire du moulin Weber, le moulin de Röder a été mentionné pour la première fois dans des lettres féodales de la seigneurie de Saathain dans le village de Neusaathain au 16e siècle. Le bâtiment a été élevé à quatre étages en 1932 et avait une annexe de silo ainsi qu'une roue à aubes de trois mètres de large avec un diamètre de 5,5 mètres, trois cercles en bois et des godets en tôle.
