Le Hengstforder Mühle est un moulin à vent situé dans la communauté agricole de Hengstforde, dans la municipalité d’Apen. Le moulin et la maison du meunier qui lui est associée sont encore utilisés à des fins commerciales aujourd’hui. Les habitants de la commune d’Apen peuvent se marier dans le moulin et la maison du meunier abrite désormais le restaurant « Landgasthof Hengstforder Mühle ». Le Hengstforder Mühle est situé directement sur l’Aper Tief et se trouve à proximité immédiate de la piscine extérieure Hengstforde, la seule piscine extérieure de la commune d’Apen.
