La réserve naturelle de Gutmecke et Renau est une réserve naturelle de 113,6 ha située au nord d'Altastenberg dans la municipalité de Winterberg. La zone a été désignée en 2008 avec le plan de paysage de Winterberg par le Hochsauerlandkreis. De vastes zones de la réserve naturelle se situent dans l'aire protégée FFH (Habitat de la Faune et de la Flore) beaucoup plus grande qui comprend Hunau, Oberes Negertal, Renautal et Steinberg, ce qui les intègre au réseau européen de zones protégées Natura 2000. Cette aire protégée FFH se poursuit dans la municipalité adjacente de Schmallenberg.
