Le château de Weesenstein est un château situé à Weesenstein, un petit village qui fait partie du Müglitztal dans la vallée de la rivière Müglitz, à environ 3 kilomètres au sud de Dohna, en Saxe.
Le château a été érigé vers 1200, dans le but de défendre la frontière avec le royaume de Bohême ; Il a été mentionné pour la première fois dans des sources écrites en 1318. La partie la plus ancienne du château est la tour circulaire centrale, qui a été érigée vers 1300. Le château a été construit pour les bourgeois de Dohna. De 1526 à 1575, la famille Bünau transforma le château d’un château défensif en un château résidentiel. Il a continué à être le siège de la famille pendant environ 350 ans. Après la guerre de Sept Ans de 1756-1763, la famille perdit une partie importante de sa fortune et dut se séparer du château, qui passa par la suite aux mains de la famille von Uckermann. La famille Uckermann a possédé le château pendant deux générations et a construit un jardin.
