Ellhofer Moos ou Moos ou Ellhofen-Moos est un village situé dans le bourg de Weiler-Simmerberg, dans l’arrondissement de Lindau et une partie de la région du Westallgäu. Non loin du village se trouve le rocher à l’est de Lindenberg.
Le Moos appartenait à la seigneurie d’Ellhofen et à la commune ultérieure d’Ellhofen et était considéré comme une prairie humide. En 1768, la route de Weiler à Isny a été construite à Isny via Auers, sur ordre de l’Oberamt Bregenz. En 1786, l’association a eu lieu à Ellhofen. En 1788, Anton Eser est devenu le premier colon à s’installer dans les Moos d’Ellhofer.
