Ehlen est un quartier de la commune de Habichtswald dans le district de Kassel en Hesse du Nord. Il compte 2739 habitants.
Ehlen se situe dans le parc naturel de Habichtswald, à environ 13,5 kilomètres à l'ouest du centre-ville de Kassel, entre le noyau de Zierenberg au nord-nord-ouest, le quartier Dörnberg de Habichtswald au nord-est, Breitenbach au sud, Martinhagen au sud-sud-ouest et Burghasungen à l'ouest. Au nord-est du village situé à environ 320 à 375 m d'altitude, se dresse le Hohe Dörnberg, au sud-est l'Essigberg, à l'ouest le Burghasunger Berg et au nord-ouest le Große Bärenberg. Juste à l'ouest d'Ehlen, la Warme coule du sud vers le nord. La route fédérale 251 passe entre Burghasungen et Dörnberg ; elle croise dans le village la route départementale 3220.
