Depuis toujours, la montagne Blümer, principalement peuplée de hêtres mais aussi parsemée de sapins, de chênes et de mélèzes, fait partie de la forêt municipale de Münden. La proximité de la zone urbaine de Münden rend la montagne Blümer si attrayante comme lieu de randonnée pour les habitants et les touristes. Un arrêt incontournable lors de cette randonnée est une halte à l'espace Weserlied, offrant une vue magnifique sur Hann. Münden et les trois rivières.
