Saint-Firmin est une commune française située dans le département des Hautes-Alpes en région Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur.
Saint-Firmin est installé à l'entrée de la vallée du Valgaudemar, sur la rive droite de la Séveraisse, sur le flanc sud du Grun de Saint-Maurice. Cette position en fait un adret appréciable. La commune fait partie depuis 2013 du parc national des Écrins.
