La bataille d’Entzheim oppose Turenne aux Impériaux le 4 octobre 1674, durant la guerre de Hollande.
Après avoir ravagé le Palatinat, Turenne repasse le Rhin le 28 juillet 1674. Il se poste près de Wissembourg, pour défendre l’Alsace. Mais Louis XIV lui ordonne de l’évacuer, d’y démanteler toutes les places et de ne tenir que Brisach et Philippsbourg. Turenne s’y refuse. Il s’installe à Landau, convaincu qu’il faut combattre au-delà du Rhin.
