La bataille d'Arausio opposa pendant la guerre des Cimbres, l'armée romaine face aux Cimbres, aux Teutons et aux Tigurins qui remportèrent la bataille. Elle s'est déroulée le 6 octobre 105 av. J.-C. à proximité d'Arausio .
À cette époque, les Cimbres et les Teutons, et d'autres peuples alliés comme les Tigurins, sont en Gaule et Rome craint qu'ils n'envahissent l'Italie. En 107 av. J.-C., les Tigurins infligèrent une lourde défaite aux Romains à la bataille d'Agen. Pour parer à cette menace, le consul Mallius Maximus est envoyé en Provence en 105 av. J.-C. afin d'y renforcer l'armée du proconsul Servilius Cæpio.
