Featherstone est un village dans le Northumberland, en Angleterre, à environ 17 miles à l'ouest de Hexham, et à environ 3 kilomètres au sud de Greenhead.
Le château de Featherstone était l'un des châteaux défendant le Tyne Gap. Le château, niché à côté de la South Tyne alors qu'elle remonte vers ses sources par Cross Fell, a été tellement reconstruit et réutilisé qu'il est difficile d'apprécier son importance militaire.
