La basilique patriarcale d’Aquilée, dite aussi basilique Santa Maria Assunta, est le principal édifice religieux de la commune d'Aquilée située dans la province d'Udine, dans le Frioul-Vénétie Julienne en italie.
Centre spirituel de l'ancien patriarcat d'Aquilée, elle a joué un rôle essentiel dans l'évangélisation d'une grande partie de l’Europe centrale au début de Moyen Âge. Ses vestiges les plus anciens remontent au IVe siècle, l'actuelle basilique est édifiée au XIIe siècle, et réaménagée au XIIIe siècle. Elle se dresse à côté de la Via Sacra, surplombant la piazza del Capitolo, avec le baptistère et l'imposant clocher-tour.
