La Piazza Villena de Palerme, également appelée I Quattro Canti , présente quatre façades (trois palais et une église) joliment décorées selon un dessin de Mariano Smiriglio avec des allégories divisées en trois ordres d'ascension , représentés par les quatre saisons (pouvoir de la nature), quatre princes (pouvoir temporel), quatre saints patrons (pouvoir divin).
Au second ordre, au centre des niches se trouvent les statues des quatre rois espagnols Charles Quint, Philippe II, Philippe III et Philippe IV.
Ici se trouve Philippe IV avec l'automne pour saison.
