La route de Baglung à Jharkot est marquée par Dangerousroads.org.
Surtout autour de Tatopani, où la gorge est très étroite, des pierres ont dû être abattues pour construire la route. La route a été construite au début des années 2000 et améliorée (lire : élargie) en 2010.
Il a été construit par l'armée.
Jusqu'à ce qu'il y ait une route, tout devait être transporté de Baglung à Muktinath à pied et à dos d'âne . A cette époque, le trekking dans cette vallée était très agréable et relaxant. Le Kali Gandaki Trek était autrefois l'un des treks les plus célèbres au monde.
