Trois éoliennes gigantesques dominent le sommet de cette crête. De la route goudronnée au Pico Alto, ils sont facilement accessibles en marchant le dernier tronçon sur un chemin de terre. Il y a des panneaux d'information sur la végétation et les petits animaux qui se produisent ici. Mais surtout la vue ici est phénoménale! Il y a un chemin facile à parcourir à travers la crête entre les éoliennes. Dans le hameau voisin de Pico Alto, un centre d’information a été créé dans l’ancienne école. Cela n’est indiqué nulle part à la manière typiquement portugaise, mais comme le hameau ne compte qu'une douzaine de maisons, on peut encore le trouver. Il est situé sur le côté nord-est du village.
