Ville de l'ouest de la Suède, Falkenberg se situe dans le comté de Halland. En 2018, la ville de Falkenberg comptait 28 357 habitants. L'Industrie a dominé par l'industrie alimentaire.
Toponymie : le nom de la ville viendrait de falk . C'est pour cela que l'emblème de la ville est le faucon. Le bourg ressemble aux petites villes de campagne suédoise : rue pavée, maisons de bois, etc. Le Tullbron qui traverse la rivière Ätran est une fierté architecturale de la ville.
