L'incantevole paese-malga di Eng (con caseificio dimostrativo) può talvolta sembrare affollato dato che la sua bellezza paesaggistica attira tanti turisti e visitatori. Oltrepassati gli ultimi edifici di Eng, tuttavia, inizia un ampio sentiero che porta al rifugio Falkenhütte e presto ci si ritrova nuovamente soltanto in compagnia di qualche alpinista. Attraverso pascoli e boschi misti si risale dolcemente fino al passo Hohljoch a 1.794 metri. Nonostante a nessuno piaccia perdere metri di dislivello, il sentiero conduce nuovamente in discesa a 1.700 metri attraverso i Laliderer Reisen. Questo sali-scendi è soprattutto uno spettacolo per gli occhi. Infine il sentiero riporta dolcemente in salita fino al passo Spielissjoch e al grande rifugio Falkenhütte.
