Il Café Modern è stato scelto nel 2009 come "Café più cool" delle Fiandre nel programma Vlaanderen Vakantieland. E a ragione. Questo café e ristorante è stato allestito nell'antica scuola di Teuven. Qui è stata conservata gran parte della vecchia scuola. Le lavagne sono ancora presenti nella sala da pranzo, i bagni sono ancora in stile autentico e nel cortile è stata creata una terrazza.
