Il ponte ciclabile Westerringspoorbrug si trova al confine tra i quartieri di Gand Brugse Poort, Rabot-Blaisantvest e Mariakerke. In passato, al posto di questo ponte ciclabile si trovava il ponte ferroviario del Westerring. Il ponte ciclabile, dipinto di blu, è stato inaugurato nel 1999 ed è parte della ciclo-pista Westerringspoor, un'importante connessione per ciclisti e pedoni per evitare il trafficato anello urbano R40. Più a sud-ovest si trova l'area naturale Bourgoyen-Ossemeersen.
