Heusden è un comune nella provincia belga di Fiandre Orientali e un comune sussidiario di Destelbergen. Heusden è stata un comune autonomo fino al 1977. Il villaggio si trova sulla riva sinistra della Schelda, tra Destelbergen e Wetteren. Heusden si trova a circa cinque chilometri a est della città di Gand, ma all'interno della circonvallazione di Gand R4. L'autostrada A14/E17 separa Heusden da Destelbergen. Quando la Schelda fu antropizzata nel 1882, Heusden perse una parte del suo territorio a favore di Melle.
