Il Weserstuwdam di Eupen è la diga più grande dei Cantoni orientali ed è stata completata nel 1951. Il lago può contenere fino a 25.000.000 m3 di acqua e fornisce acqua alla zona locale, al Herveland e ai sobborghi di Liegi.
Su una collina, direttamente lungo le rive del lago artificiale della Weser, il centro turistico offre una vista splendida sul lago artificiale e sul paesaggio boschivo circostante.
