Situato in un parco paesaggistico con grandi specchi d'acqua, alberi e arbusti, sentieri e giardini, il castello d'Aertrycke a Torhout è molto fotogenico. Fu August de Maere, deputato e padre spirituale del porto di Zeebrugge, a farlo costruire nel 1871. Oggi ospita un ristorante di alta cucina. Inoltre, nel parco del castello puoi trovare in ex scuderie un'accogliente bistro.
