Questa zona verde di circa cinque ettari si trova tra il palazzetto dello sport omonimo, il Mandel, la Meulebeeksesteenweg e il Gaverbeek. Secondo una leggenda popolare, qui viveva un tempo Calle con l’uncino. Questo spirito appariva nei pozzi d’acqua delle abitazioni nelle vicinanze e attirava i passanti con dolcetti verso il parapetto del ponte per poi trascinarli in acqua. Ora è molto più piacevole. Insieme alla provincia, l'amministrazione comunale ha trasformato l'area di cinque ettari in una riserva naturale. Nel parco sono stati realizzati percorsi ciclabili e pedonali con panchine e sono stati piantati alberi autoctoni.
