Sulla Bolderberg si trova la Kluis, una vecchia abitazione di un eremita. La Kluis risale al 1673 ed è stata costruita secondo i progetti della cappella della O.L.Vrouw di Loreto e di alcuni vani abitativi. Le secolari faggi nei dintorni sono impressionanti. Le foreste naturali sulla collina sono costituite principalmente da querce e betulle, tipiche del terreno acido. Nei pressi della kluis si ha una vista magnifica sul castello di Terlaemen (proprietà privata-non accessibile). Il giardino della Kluis è circondato da vecchie faggi ben curati. I 7 tigli piantati in un semicerchio davanti all'edificio simboleggiano i 7 dolori di Maria. Questa statua si trova sulla sommità della facciata principale della cappella.
