A Villers-La-Ville si trova l' "Abbaye Notre-Dame De Villers". Queste sono le rovine di ciò che un tempo è stato un'abbazia cistercense. Nella profonda valle della Thyle, che ha scolpito qui un paesaggio quasi ardennese, si trovano i resti da ammirare.
L'abbazia fu fondata nel 1146 da San Bernardo, che fu dichiarato santo in seguito, ed è nel corso degli anni diventata una delle abbazie più uniche di tutta l'Europa occidentale. La rovina è grande oltre 15 ha e il birrificio del XIII secolo è uno degli edifici monastici più impressionanti del Belgio.
