Questa cava di argilla, dove l'estrazione è stata recentemente (temporaneamente?) interrotta, fa parte di un vasto territorio di estrazione di argilla. Essa comprende un'area asfaltata coperta con terreni incolti discontinui su un sottosuolo piuttosto umido e due corpi d'acqua circondati da pendii erosi. La colonizzazione vegetale non è generalmente molto avanzata. Il valore biologico, attualmente molto poco documentato, dovrebbe aumentare nel corso degli anni. Possiamo già menzionare alcune piante interessanti nel distretto fitogeografico brabantese: Isolepis setacea, Centaurium pulchellum e soprattutto Potentilla anglica.
