La foresta degli eroi è un'area verde pubblica di 1,30 ettari, accessibile al pubblico, vicino al centro di Zulte, nella zona tra Kapellestraat, Kouterweg e Dennenstraat.
Questa foresta è stata creata in omaggio e come ricordo vivo dell'impegno di tutti i caregiver, sia davanti che dietro le quinte durante la crisi del coronavirus.
C'è anche un'area per cani e un vero e proprio giardino di raccolta con alcuni cespugli di bacche e alcuni alberi da frutto alto-stelo e una panchina per il riposo.
