Kruiskensbaan è una strada nell'area naturale "Kruiskensberg e dintorni", un paesaggio raro e intatto di circa 125 ha che funge da zona di transizione tra brughiera e prati con gradienti da basso ad alto, secco a umido, argilla a sabbia, aperto a boschivo e con una vegetazione straordinaria che varia a seconda delle fasi di interramento nel braccio della Nete interrotto. Rovine di brughiera con filari di alberi, siepi, boschetti, canneti e fossati si alternano a foreste miste di conifere e latifoglie e a prati aperti, campi e terreni da fieno. Di importanza geomorfologica sono i grandi dislivelli con la duna terrestre "Kruiskensberg" e i suoi ripidi bordi lungo la Grande Nete.
