Questo memoriale commemora i residenti di Crupet che furono uccisi o dispersi durante la prima guerra mondiale.
Per un piccolo villaggio, questo monumento è piuttosto imponente. Testimonia il fervore della popolazione a favore dei reduci.
A Crupet fu in gran parte risparmiato l'orrore dei tedeschi. C'è solo una vittima civile, Alphons Pierret (1877-1914) ucciso da un cecchino mentre tornava dal castello in bicicletta.
