La Cappella di Rooien si trova all’angolo tra Rooienkapel e Schoorstraat a Gierle. La cappella è dedicata a Nostra Signora della Visitazione ed è situata in una piazzetta alberata di querce e faggi. Inizialmente, la cappella era completamente circondata da un fossato. La cappella rettangolare in mattoni risale alla fine del XVI secolo. Nel XIX secolo è stata ampliata verso ovest. Sopra l’ingresso nella facciata ovest si trova una nicchia con l'immagine di Nostra Signora e del Bambino. L'interno sobrio, intonacato e dipinto, possiede una volta a botte. La cappella è stata ristrutturata nel 1986. Nel 2005, la cappella è stata protetta come monumento.
