Questo edificio è un'antica scuola fondata nel 1864 dalla città e gestita dall'ufficio di beneficenza fino al 1904. Da qui il nome della vicina strada "rue de l'école".
La scuola fu trasformata in un ufficio postale dal 1912 al 1936 e oggi (2023) è stata trasformata in un bar.
