Escursione naturalistica a forma di anello attraverso le Averegten e il giardino delle piante Florete Flores.
Il Gruppo di Studio della Natura Beneden-Dijle ha effettuato qui la sua passeggiata del martedì mattina, e ha annotato flora & fauna: waarnemingen.be sotto l'osservatore NSG Beneden-Dijle in data 22-6-2010 e 10-4-2012.
Il Giardino delle Piante Florete Flores è un giardino collezione con una storia particolare la cui origine risale al allora villaggio paludoso di Oorderen. Quando Oorderen scomparve dalla mappa a causa dell'espansione del porto a metà del secolo scorso, René Vertommen (1920 – 2011) portò il giardino a Heist-op-den-Berg.
Il giardino è suddiviso nei seguenti temi: piante per api, piante coprisuolo, piante per insetti, piante utili, piante aromatiche, felci, piante per farfalle e piante rampicanti. (fonte: Provincia di Anversa)
