La stazione di servizio dell'autostrada Rheintal si trova sull'A13, accanto alla diga del Reno alpino, nel territorio del comune politico di Sevelen nel cantone di San Gallo, ovvero di fronte al capoluogo del Principato del Liechtenstein, Vaduz.
La stazione di servizio è l'unica in Svizzera che confina con il Principato del Liechtenstein e si trova nel punto più basso del comune di Sevelen a 451 m.s.l.m. Poco dopo la stazione di servizio Rheintal, risalendo il fiume, l'A13 si collega all'autostrada A3 e prosegue verso Chur, rispettivamente Zurigo, oppure in direzione a valle verso Buchs e oltre verso St. Margrethen.
