L'Alta Via del Patrimonio Mondiale dell'UNESCO è un percorso alpino (contrassegnato bianco-blu-bianco) adatto solo a escursionisti esperti senza vertigini. Offre una vista mozzafiato sul Grande ghiacciaio dell'Aletsch e sulle Alpi svizzere, patrimonio mondiale dell'UNESCO, Jungfrau-Aletsch. Da sud si ha una vista spettacolare sulle valli del Rodano e del Binn e sulle Alpi vallesane! L'escursione dalla stazione di arrivo della funivia Bettmeralp alla funivia Eggishorn dura 3 ore. L'escursione dalla stazione della funivia al Bettmerhorn dura 30 minuti. Da lì è lungo 1,5 km della cresta, dopo di che gli escursionisti incontrano una ripida discesa (corde fisse per aiutare) fino a Elselücke. Un buon sentiero conduce poi alla stazione della funivia Eggishorn, a circa 45 minuti.
