Stadtallendorf è una città nel distretto di Marburg-Biedenkopf, in Assia, Germania. Si trova a circa 18 km a est di Marburg. Nel 2010, la città ha ospitato il 50° festival statale Hessentag.
Sotto il sistema tedesco dei Naturräume, Stadtallendorf si trova nella zona della depressione dell'Assia occidentale, che è divisa in bacini e creste. Rispetto a questi, la città si trova sulla cresta dell'Assia superiore, che separa il bacino di Amöneburg a ovest dal bacino di Schwalm a est. Su questa cresta si può anche trovare il Colle di Neustadt, adiacente al margine nord-est della città. Questo altopiano fa parte del divide tra i bacini idrografici del Reno e del Weser.
