Bertsdorf-Hörnitz è un comune sassone nel distretto di Görlitz ai margini delle montagne di Zittau.
Bertsdorf-Hörnitz si trova a sud del distretto nella valle del fiume Bertsdorfer, tra due catene montuose alte oltre 400 metri. La Mandau scorre solo attraverso la frazione di Hörnitz. Il comune si trova a circa tre chilometri a ovest della città di Zittau e confina direttamente con essa. Il comune ha anche una stazione ferroviaria sulla ferrovia a scartamento ridotto di Zittau, che si trova però a due chilometri al di fuori del territorio comunale.
