Hünfeld è una cittadina nel distretto di Fulda in Assia orientale. Dal 11 luglio 2006 porta il titolo ufficiale di città di Konrad-Zuse, in onore dell'inventore del primo computer funzionante, la cui residenza principale era Hünfeld.
Hünfeld si trova lungo il fiume Haune con i suoi due affluenti Nüst e Hasel vicino al parco naturale della Rhön Assiana. La città più grande a sud è Fulda, circa 16 km di distanza, e a nord Bad Hersfeld, circa 26 km di distanza.
