Dörentrup [ˈdœːɐntʁʊp] è un comune nel nord-est della Renania Settentrionale-Vestfalia. Con 7630 abitanti, Dörentrup è il comune con la popolazione più bassa del circondario di Lippe.
Il territorio comunale fa parte della regione naturale del Lipper Bergland. Colline boschive e vallate intensamente sfruttate per l'agricoltura caratterizzano il paesaggio. Il fiume più grande è il Bega, che attraversa il territorio comunale da est a ovest. Dörentrup si trova nel Parco Naturale del Teutoburger Wald/Eggegebirge. Schwelentrup e Hillentrup sono località di villeggiatura con parco termale.
