La Grafschaft è un comune non associato nel distretto di Ahrweiler, nel nord del Rheinland-Pfalz, direttamente al confine statale con il Nord Reno-Westfalia. Il comune è nato nel 1974 dopo la riforma comunale del Rheinland-Pfalz dalla maggior parte dell'ex comune associato di Ringen. La sede del comune è il villaggio di Ringen. Nella parlata regionale è spesso chiamato "la Grafschaft". La Grafschaft è designata come centro di base secondo la pianificazione statale.
