Rheinhausen-Mitte è un quartiere di Duisburg nel distretto di Rheinhausen. Ha 10.666 abitanti. Come quartiere designato esiste solo dalla ristrutturazione comunale, cioè dalla fusione della città di Rheinhausen nella città di Duisburg il 1 gennaio 1975. Prima, l'area in questione nella parte settentrionale apparteneva al quartiere della ex municipalità di Hochemmerich e la parte meridionale al quartiere della ex municipalità di Friemersheim. Nell'area di Rheinhausen-Mitte si trovavano le frazioni di Atrop e Schwarzenberg. A partire all'inizio degli anni '50 l'area, perlopiù non edificata, venne chiamata "zona centrale della città"; qui doveva sorgere il nuovo centro città di Rheinhausen.
