Moritzberg è un quartiere a ovest di Hildesheim. Insieme agli insediamenti di Waldquelle, Godehardikamp e Bockfeld forma uno dei 14 villaggi della città. Il vecchio villaggio del capitolo fu incorporato nel 1911.
A nord, Moritzberg confina con Himmelsthür, separato da B 1. Nel 2011, il quartiere di Moritzberg con Godehardikamp e Bockfeld e il distretto urbano a est, West, con il quartiere Steinberg, che si estende dalla Schützenwiese a nord fino alla zona boschiva di Steinberg a sud, sono stati uniti in un quartiere chiamato Moritzberg. A ovest ci sono ampie aree verdi e boschive nel corso di Gallberg – Rottsberg – Lärchenberg, a sud l'ex villaggio di Neuhof. Appartengono tutti al distretto urbano di Neuhof/Hildesheimer Wald.
