Il castello di Kipfenberg è un castello a sperone su un ripido sperone di roccia alto 430 m sul livello del mare, situato a est del comune di Kipfenberg, in Burgstraße, nella contea di Eichstätt in Baviera.
Il castello fu costruito nel XII secolo ed era nel possesso dei cavalieri Kropf nel 1277, che si chiamavano così in onore del castello Kropf di Kipfenberg e che in precedenza erano stati ministeriali dei conti di Hirschberg, proprietari del castello di Hirschberg. L'11 settembre 1301, Konrad, detto Struma, vendette il "castrum et oppidum Kipfenberg" con tutte le sue proprietà al vescovado di Eichstätt.
