L'area delle pianure e dei valloni secondari è un'area protetta nelle municipalità della Bassa Sassonia di Ahlerstedt, Bargstedt e Harsefeld nel comune di Harsefeld, e Bliedersdorf e Horneburg nel comune di Horneburg nel distretto di Stade.
L'area protetta con il codice NSG LÜ 216 ha una dimensione di circa 685 ettari. È in gran parte contemporaneamente designata come area FFH "Auetal e valloni secondari", che si estende su 753 ettari. Nella valle dello Steinbeck a est di Harsefeld confina con l'area protetta "Steinbeckforst". In altri casi, è circondata in gran parte dall'area di protezione paesaggistica "Auetal". L'area è protetta dal 16 giugno 1997. L'autorità competente per la protezione della natura è il distretto di Stade.
