La chiesa parrocchiale cattolica romana di San Lorenzo a Windeck-Dattenfeld è stata costruita nel 1879-1880 al posto di un precedente edificio demolito nel 1878, come chiesa a due torri in stile neoromanico. A causa della facciata a doppia torre, la chiesa è spesso chiamata "Duomo della Valle del Sieg". I due piani inferiori della torre nord provengono dalla vecchia chiesa parrocchiale del 12/13° secolo, che originariamente era probabilmente solo una cappella, ma è stata ampliata in una chiesa a tre navate con una lunghezza di circa 25,60 m e una larghezza di 7,85 m, ed era già dedicata a San Lorenzo di Roma.
