Il Castello Mauel è una piccola fortezza d'acqua nel comune di Windeck, nel distretto di Rhein-Sieg, in Nordreno-Vestfalia. Si tratta di un edificio in pietra grezza di arenaria a due piani.
Nel 1555, Wilhelm von Etzbach era il proprietario della casa padronale. All'inizio del XVII secolo, i signori von Vellbrück vi risiedettero, ma successivamente affittarono la proprietà. Nel 1787, vendettero la proprietà all'attuale affittuario Peter Voß per 23.000 talleri bergisci. Nel 1794, i monaci benedettini dell'abbazia di Brauweiler, fuggiti davanti alle truppe d'occupazione francesi, trovarono rifugio nel castello per un certo periodo. Altri proprietari furono le famiglie Hundhausen, Kammerich, Kirchbaum e Wehner. Nel 1991, la famiglia Lenz/Schmid acquisì l'edificio e lo ristrutturò. Nel 2007, il castello cambiò proprietario e oggi ospita sale conferenze, una consulenza aziendale e unità abitative. Inoltre, un giardino della birra e una cantina sono a disposizione per una sosta.
