Il Castello di Schönburg è un castello elevato situato presso la località tedesca di Oberwesel, nella Renania-Palatinato, lungo il Reno, risalente al XII secolo.
L'inizio della costruzione del castello avvenne nella prima metà del XII secolo. Non è chiaro se il castello sia stato costruito dall'arcivescovo o come castello imperiale. Nel 1149, il castello appare nelle fonti come feudo di Herman von Stahleck, che fece assassinare qui il suo rivale per la contea del Reno, Otto II von Rheineck. Nel XIV secolo, Schönburg divenne una fortezza dell'elettorato di Treviri.
